  30. Installing Graphmatica:
  31. -----------------------
  32. To be able to use the on-line help facility, you should place the six
  33. .HLP files on the same disk and directory as the executable file. Then,
  34. before you run Graphmatica, change the current drive/directory to where
  35. those files are. For example, to install Graphmatica from the disk in
  36. drive A: to some directory C:\GRAPHICS, you would type:
  37.         C:\>copy  a:graphmat.*  c:\graphics
  38.         C:\>copy  a:grmat?.*  c:\graphics
  39.         C:\>copy  a:*.gr  c:\graphics
  40. and to run the program, you would type:
  41.         C:\>cd c:\graphics
  42.         C:\GRAPHICS>graphmat

  45. Notes:
  46. ------
  47. Please do not edit any of the files GRMAT*.HLP. They are formatted
  48. especially for use under the Graphmatica help view function, broken up
  49. into screens of 23 lines. Altering these files may result in abnormal
  50. page breaks and prevent effective use of the online help.

  52. Graphmatica is also available as a Windows program. See GRAPHMAT.DOC
  53. for instructions on obtaining Graphmatica for Windows 1.3.

  57. Version 3.30b patches:
  58. ======================
  59. 1. Bug in "-" associativity fixed. In version 1.30, I attempted to
  60.    simplify parsing of minus signs/negative numbers, with the unexpected
  61.    result that expressions like 1-x-y were improperly interpreted as
  62.    1-(x-y). I have restored the old method which works fine.
  63. 2. Better-precision coordinate cursor, point evaluate and range-selection
  64.    numerical displays provide 3-significant digit accuracy across the
  65.    whole range to make eyeballing points easier.

  67. To register, print out and send in the form found in REGISTER.TXT
  68. (also found at the end of GRAPHMAT.DOC). Or you can register using
  69. CompuServe's Shareware Registration Database ("GO SWREG"). Read
  70. Appendix D in the manual for information about Shareware.
